FarWest Management
Brand Identity Case Study
(United States • Property Management • Multi-Family Housing)
FarWest Management Corporation is a long-established property management company in the United States, overseeing high-quality apartment communities with a commitment to comfort, stability, and long-term resident satisfaction. Their identity—rooted in classic typography and Western-inspired color tones—reflects a company with decades of trust behind it. FarWest needed a cohesive identity that matched the quality of its communities and modern expectations of renters and investors.
Keystone Identity was engaged to create a cohesive, modernized brand system that elevates how FarWest shows up across signage, leasing materials, digital platforms, and investor-facing communication.
The Challenge
FarWest had a recognizable logo, but the overall brand system lacked structure. Across the website, brochures, and on-site materials, the colors, typography, and visual tone felt inconsistent, which weakened the level of professionalism the company wanted to project.
Inconsistency across signage, leasing materials, and digital listings created confusion and made the brand feel different from one property to the next. The outdated visual hierarchy in both print and digital touchpoints added to the problem, leaving the identity fragmented and difficult to scale.
Without a cohesive framework, FarWest could not fully communicate the warm, reliable, and resident-focused experience it aimed to deliver. The brand needed a clearer, more unified system that could strengthen trust, improve clarity, and create a refined presence at every touchpoint.
Our Approach
To solve this, Keystone Identity created a refined visual system that respected FarWest’s established heritage while giving the brand a more modern and cohesive presence. The foundation included improved logo spacing and usage guidelines, an updated color palette, and a thoughtful pairing of serif and sans-serif typography that felt both confident and welcoming.
The identity was strengthened through a more polished photography style for listings and marketing, a structured leasing brochure system, and a full set of exterior and interior signage designs. Standardized layouts were also developed for Apartments.com, Zillow, and other rental platforms, supported by a clean icon style and subtle graphic elements. Together, these updates formed a system that feels timeless, organized, and distinctly rooted in the character of West Coast residential living, all while staying true to the original brand.

The brand system was designed to feel consistent wherever it shows up, whether on property signs, leasing paperwork, online listings, or resident portals. Everything stays clear, steady, and easy to recognize at any size.
The new identity carries through every part of the FarWest experience, from on-site signage to printed materials and digital listings, creating a clear and consistent presence wherever it appears.
The updated identity strengthened FarWest’s presence across property signage, leasing materials, and online listings. It now reflects the company’s role as a dependable, resident-focused leader in community management.
The new identity elevates FarWest across every touchpoint, from community signage to leasing materials and digital listings. The clearer visual language strengthens trust, improves recognition, and presents the company as a dependable leader in property management.
Keystone gave our brand a level of clarity and polish we had been missing for years. The work feels thoughtful, professional, and truly aligned with the way we manage our communities.
